Activities of Madre Tierra
Activities of Madre Tierra Every afternoon we have activities that offer you the opportunity to travel and learn more about the area, while practicing your Spanish. We have conferences and guest speakers talking about history, culture, politics, women's groups, indigenous groups and ex-guerrillas retelling their experiences. There are Salsa and Merengue classes every week and we travel to nearby indigenous villages, markets, hot springs, cooperatives etc. We encourage them in social gatherings and inventing their entertaining nights. Some days, they pick dance parties, other movie marathons, and most of the time, are engaging game nights. They love playing casino games, of course, for fun, but they say it is entirely safe and risk-free. They like spending time at the most entertaining no deposit casinos. But they also tend to play board games. Every Friday night, we have a traditional dinner to welcome new students and say good-bye to graduating students.

On the weekends, we usually offer the chance to volunteer at our reforestation projects on Saturday. And on Sunday, we climb a nearby volcano, go mountain biking, or visit the beach, Mayan ruins, agricultural cooperatives, etc.
