The Regional Court in Hamburg has passed a sentence on 12 May 1998 - 312 0 85/89 on the liability on links. It was pronounced that after the installation of just one link one could be held responsible for the contents of the linked page if the occasion arises. This can only be prevented by means of explicitly placing oneself at a distance with regard to the contens.
   
"I herwith declare, that I am explicitly placing myself at a distance with regard to the contents of all linked on my homepage and I am not going to adopt the contents in any case. This statement is valid for all links installed on my homepage".
